Project Background: Nanning Hengfeng Beverage Co., Ltd., a contract manufacturer for the Wahaha Group, uses extremely high energy consumption in its refrigeration and bottling equipment during production, necessitating the use of clean energy to reduce costs.
Project Details: Utilizing unused rooftops within the factory, an 8.37 MW distributed photovoltaic project was constructed. High-efficiency monocrystalline modules were adapted to the complex structure of the industrial rooftops, and a scientific distribution network was implemented to achieve local power consumption.
Application Results: The project generates an average annual power generation of 9 million kWh, saving approximately 2,800 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 7,500 tons annually. Furthermore, through a “self-generated for own use, with surplus power fed to the grid” model, the project saves the company over 4 million yuan in electricity costs annually, with a return on investment of just five years.
