A model for intensive utilization of rooftop resources

Project Background: Shanghai Ansheng Enterprise Development Co., Ltd. had an unused factory rooftop. The company sought to reduce industrial electricity costs by utilizing renewable energy while also addressing the “Dual Carbon” policy.

Project Details: 12,246 550Wp monocrystalline photovoltaic panels with a total capacity of 6.72 MW were installed on the factory rooftop in Pudong New Area. A scientific wiring scheme was employed to minimize impact on the rooftop’s original function.

Application Results: The system provides an average of 6.5 million kWh of clean electricity annually, saving 2,000 tons of standard coal and reducing CO2 emissions by 5,400 tons annually. This system achieves a highly efficient space utilization model for industrial plants: “power generation above, production below.”
