Project Background: Tencent’s Tianjin High-Tech Cloud Data Center operates 24/7, and its server cluster consumes significant energy, placing extremely high demands on power stability and environmental friendliness.
Implementation: A 10.54 MW microgrid project was constructed using the rooftops and parking spaces of eight factory buildings. 18,488 570-watt N-type TOPCon bifacial double-glass modules were installed, achieving a conversion efficiency of nearly 25%. These modules, in conjunction with an energy storage system, ensure stable power supply.
Application Results: Over 12 million kWh of green electricity is provided annually, saving 3,576 tons of standard coal and reducing CO2 emissions by 10,000 tons. This not only meets 15% of the data center’s electricity needs but also provides a technological model for the green transformation of the digital industry.
